YEEO Eco-Safe offers effective, eco-friendly mosquito control using natural ingredients, ensuring a safe environment for your family
YEEO Eco-Safe provides high-quality, cost-effective pest control solutions that are easy to use for both homes and large-scale applications.
Our innovative technology delivers rapid results with yeast-encapsulated essential oils, effectively targeting mosquito larvae while protecting biodiversity.
YEEO Eco-Safe Inc, we are dedicated to providing innovative and environmentally friendly solutions to control disease bearing and agriculture damaging insects. Headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, our company serves a global market, specializing in developing Essential Oil based insect controls. Essential Oils are plant-produced natural insecticides. Our initial products are based on Yeast-Encapsulated Essential Oils (YEEO). This unique and effective patented delivery mechanism for attacking mosquito larvae provides rapid population reduction. Our insecticides are formulated using only food-grade ingredients, ensuring safety for humans and the environment. Led by a team of experienced professionals, YEEO Eco-Safe is poised to revolutionize the insect control industry and help protect public health and essential food crops worldwide.
Our insecticides are synthesized using only food-grade materials, ensuring safety for humans and the environment.
YEEO products demonstrate quick and effective killing of mosquito larvae, proven in both laboratory and field trials.
Our formulations are non-toxic and environmentally friendly, making them safe for beneficial species.
Our innovative production methods make YEEO insecticides inexpensive to produce, providing a cost-effective solution for mosquito control.
YEEO refers to our unique insecticides that combine food-grade essential oils with yeast encapsulation. This technology allows for effective targeting and elimination of insect larvae while ensuring safety for non-target species and humans.
Unlike traditional chemical insecticides, YEEO products are non-toxic to humans and beneficial species. They are formulated with food-grade ingredients, making them safer for the environment and less harmful to non-target organisms.
Yes, YEEO insecticides have demonstrated rapid efficacy against various mosquito larvae species in both laboratory and field trials. Our formulations are designed to target specific insect populations effectively.
Our formulations have a long shelf life and are designed to be UV-resistant. We are continually working to enhance the longevity and effectiveness of our products in various environmental conditions.

Ivy Hurwitz is a scientist and innovator focused on environmentally sustainable controls for disease bearing insects. As a Research Professor at the Center for Global Health of the University of New Mexico, she has worked on paratransgenic approaches to disrupt disease transmission in insect vectors and is a co-inventor of yeast-encapsulated essential oils for mosquito control. Through the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program, Ivy explored the market potential, regulatory landscape, and commercialization pathways for our novel larvicides. Her experience in research, regulatory engagement, and product development helps translate scientific advancements into practical solutions.
When she’s not working with essential oils to stop mosquitoes, Ivy is using them to train her dachshund in scent detection trials—proving that in both science and sport, the right scent makes all the difference!
Michael Workman, PhD is an interdisciplinary scientist with degrees in chemistry, physics, and nanoscience engineering. His research and development background spans a range of topics, from inexpensive fuel cell catalysts, to electrochemical actinide decontamination, to biomaterials for mosquito control. The common thread of these projects is their potential to improve peoples’ lives using environmentally conscious methods.
As a co-inventor of Yeast Encapsulated Essential Oils for mosquito control, he engaged with vector control professionals across the country with the NSF’s National I-Corps Program. Through these visits, he became familiar with how mosquito control products are used, what challenges vector control professionals face, and the regulatory environment in which they operate.
When not in the lab, Michael enjoys experiencing the nuances of music, nature, and food;
occasionally, synchronously.
